Not quite sure Vancouver goes for that as the last thing we need is to add another winger to our massive collection

Lol that first trade is dreadful. Might be the worst I have seen on this site. Lol always wild to me when someone's sum hockey analysis is essentially hey, let me search the height and weight of a player.

-I feel like you're giving Dallas too much here? Gurianov might pop off in a better environment but I think giving up Robertson & Sandin is a big price to pay for a solid middle-6 guy and a defensive bottom 6 center in Glendening - you're basically moving out talented youngsters to take in middle 6 guys with higher AAVs. Even with the extra picks coming from Dallas, I'm not really a fan of this one. Think you get a better return with this pair of dudes if you want to move them together.

-Islanders say no. Kerfoot is fine, Anderson is whatever, but there's no one in the org ready to step up and play RD3 right now - and have you seen what's left in UFA? I could understand moving Mayfield as part of a deal for a slam dunk top-line winger, but Kerfoot would be a middle 6 dude on a team with a bunch of them already. Isles would pass.

-I can see the value here but I think Vancouver would make you take something negative back here, or add a little - TML is sending out about $9M in cap and getting back $6.5M. I think Nylander has very similar value to Miller as a player (Miller gets the slight bump as C > RW but Nylander gets some extra value with an extra year of term.) Schenn and Holl are probably equal in talent, so the money becomes the sticking point. Vancouver is already $2.75M over the cap right now, so they're probably at a money in, money out position. Jason Dickinson & Tucker Poolman's cap hits would basically even it out, but both those have some term and they're really negative value deals, so hilariously maybe Vancouver sends back Travis Dermott's $1.5M to get it close? I dunno.

Canucks decline. Miller>Nylander and Schenn>Holl and we don't have the cap space for that either.
