I feel like they’ll be getting a majority of the offense from the left side with Matheson/Smith so it’ll be okay. It certainly won’t be your traditional defensive unit though.

Clowns will tell you Garland would cost Marino, but it wasn’t going to nor would it ever. Garland is solid, but not worth Marino. At this stage Garland is no longer needed. It seems Sully has always been about putting lefties on the left and righties in the right, most notably in the top-9. With the current setup, it seems the pens need a LW to fill out the top-9. This is how I see it:

Zucker/????-Carter-Kap
