I like Grzelcyk a lot, but idk if he really has a role on the Caps, especially with Orlov on the roster. They have a lot of internal options at LD that are going to be vying for playing time.

His role is the same it is with us. The left side of your Defense is not very strong. We have too many players down the left. Plenty of other teams also have that problem and may be willing to make a deal with Washington but Grizz is one of the best you’ll find

We have 9 defenseman for 6 spots, and there's really only one open spot - third pair LD. Carlsson, Gustafsson, and Johansen will fight for the spot. The fit might be good, but the cap hit is not for a team like the Caps. Caps wouldn't offer that much, Boston would get a much better return elsewhere
