tkachuk

Created by: Dekes
Team: 2022-23 Detroit Red Wings
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 21, 2022
Published: Jul. 21, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Tkachuk-Larkin-Raymond would be one of the best lines in the league in my personal opinion. It fills every category of skill
- Goal scoring all 3 are capable of scoring 30+
- defence both larkin and tkachuk are solid defensively
- Physicality tkachuk is one of the more grittier and tenacious players in the league
and all 3 are very skilled in their own ways
Larkin has his speed and edgework
Raymond has good elusiveness and hands
Tkachuk has his size and strength to power through most dmen

another positive is this line is young and could stick together for atleast 6 seasons.

If Edvinsson could even be half as good as seider was this season i think detroit could be a very competitive team

With the moves Yzerman has made this offseason it looks as he is ready to start competing and since players like tkachuk don't come on the market very often i can't see why yzerman wouldn't throw a massive offer out there they have a plethora of prospects and if they could keep kasper that would be huge

Can't imagine Tkachuk isn't traded for without Raymond being the piece going back.

I'd love Bertuzzi on NSH, but they don't really have the cap space anymore-- and I'm not sure I'd pay that price for a UFA-to-be. Maybe if there was a reasonable extension in place.

It would probably be Raymond going the other way. If not, then Kasper is 100% the starting piece. There’s no shot you get Tkachuk without at least one of those two.

Agreed Raymond and other pieces would need to go to Calgary and do not think Wings are in consideration

The interesting part in all of this is everyone knows he wants out so although it could have been an ask for Raymond Calgary has to take the best they can get it’ll be interesting to see the return Calgary gets as I think it’ll be lower than most believe. If none of this was public then I’d agree with the Raymond scenario.
