Sabres decline. Samuelson is going to be an important piece in our top 4 for a long time, and I expect JJP to be a top 6 winger. Adding 2 first to that is not worth it for Tkachuk for us.

Not sure Tkatchuk wants to sign long-term in BUF. If that's the case, what's the incentive for BUF to make the move?
