No from the Isles, they do not want Muzzin and his contract. And most likely Muzzin does not waive.

Muzzin doesn’t likely waive cuz of Lou and his no beard policy. I just want to get rid of that contract.

This doesn’t work for the islanders in terms of their cap situation. I’m not saying Kerfoot at 3.5 is bad value, but I’d rather have Mayfield at 1.45 for next season. Meanwhile you also want the isles to take on Jake Muzzin who costs 5.625 and has a full NTC. You basically want the isles to trade one of their best value deals for Kerfoot, a cap dump and a third.

And the isles don’t want his contract!!! You wanted to send 9 million in bad salary and a 3rd for Scott Mayfield? Kerfoot contract is fine but attached to Muzzin that is horrendous!!!

If that is 9m in bad salary then we are taking back 1.4m in bad salary. How the people on this site can look at players like kerfoot and Holl and call them Ed money ir cap dumps is beyond me.

Muzzin, well that's a different story.
