No Go for me, top 6 is better now than after adding Miller and Horvat, and they def don't need them in a bottom 6 role.

Canucks decline pretty easily. Giving up a PPG player and their captain with retention while also taking on a cap dump and only getting one top prospect and one 1st. Plus not even a good young RHD in the trade

Didn't realize this was assuming Batherson is suspended the whole season.

However, even then I would rather play Formenton or Joseph with Stutzle and Debrincat, who could probably play with a monkey on their line and still get 100 points each, and then Giroux with Brady and Norris then give up everything in that trade for one season of Miller and Horvat.
Pinto needs to stay at C, that is one of his biggest strengths.

Canucks hang up the phone and block your number. If you want JT and Horvat long term then we expect good return like one of Norris or DeBrincat and one of Batherson or Formenton.

i'd guess that they would, i just happened to realize that horvat had one year left as well and was like hey why not

i made this with the assumption that neither of batherson or formenton play (hence why i didnt sign formenton)
but yeah i do agree with what you've said, just made this for sh*ts and giggles
