BUF decides to go for the playoffs this year, and makes a big trade for Horvat (with extension) and Myers. The goalie position is still a big question mark, but they could acquire one in-season if their current tandem falters.

I would give a 2nd Rd for Garland though. Sabres middle 2nd rd pick of the 3 Sabres have

Lol why would the Canucks give up our captain for a 1st and 2nd round pick. You can have Myers if you want though. However if you are willing to get rid of Dylan Cozens then we can figure out a deal for Horvat.

That’s gonna be a “No” from the Sabres
Myers is a cap dump, and we’d have ZERO interest in him
And that’s just too much for Horvat

Horvat is interesting, Myers not so much. I don't love the sabres current centers, they did however just draft 3 centers in the first round. I think this is a year to see what they have, it's not a year to trade what's probably a lottery first for a rental. Myers is a poison pill for me anyways.
