I don't think the Jets do that trade tbh. That 1st round pick has a very good chance to be a top 10 pick considering how ****e the Habs are. Sure things could swing by 2025 but as of rn, nah.

So a huge maybe on a 1st round pick, a washed up Jonathan Toews, Mike Hoffman to effectively replace PLD on the 2nd line ( horrible trade-off ), and a defensive prospect in Norrlinder who's offense is supposed to be is biggest asset and he scored 2 points in 21 SHL games last season, for PLD and Ville Heinola, who could actúally be ready to take the next step into the league this season.

Hard pass if i was the GM but i'm clearly not so who knows!

Also, Chicago traded away DeBrincat, Dach and Kubalik, what makes you think they want younger assets lmao? They want bad contracts with good picks attached to it, not 3rd and 4th rounders to do Montreal favors.
