Jackets would have to have a significant amount of injuries to trade for Smith which means they likely aren't in playoff contention.

I got rid of the Lindholm trade after like 3 minutes because I realized it probably wouldn't work and just didn't think about it enough

The thing is just I think Boston might still have another playoff appearance in them, it's just gonna be tough this season with all the injuries. If it's the same story in 23-24 though, then yeah I'd get freaky with it

No on Forbort, like the player but just like BOS, NYR have a serious cap issue and can't take that contract on.
