I mean... If it's a perfect world and we have both Fantili and Bedard, and Van accepts Gallagher's Contract, why not have Huberdeau signed for 1M/year?

Vancouver has zero interest in Gallagher. His contract is going to be very difficult to move without giving up a lot, so Montreal is probably stuck with him .

Only way Vancouver would take Gallagher is if Montreal retains 50% and takes back Poolman
