nope, that's the opposite of the Yzerplan - draft, develop and FA with the OCCASIONAL roster trade

Rather keep sunny and the fourth. Probably don't get anything, especially from a cap strapped Minnesota, get Erne. Bertuzzi trade is meh, if you are going to sell him sell him high. Trading away a player that was just signed is probably one of the very worst things you could do as a gm. No one would want to sign here and we seem to be an on the rise signing destination.

Avalanche say no.

Maata doesn't fit their style of play at all. They are all about speed.

And they aren't looking for prospects and draft picks.
