Why do Vancouver fans think Myers has any value at all, even with retention? Sabres have 0 interest unless you are offering us something enticing and not asking for anything back

I see him being moved in more of a Pacioretty type of deal. Teams just do not have the cap space for 2x6

He is 6’8 and 230lbs, He is a 20-35 Point Defensmen, He has long reach and can hit, He can shutdown plays and play top 4 minutes and be a 2nd pair D-Man

A Solid D-Man but what lessers his value is his contract. Our previous GM, Mr Dumb4$$, Genius Jimbo (the list goes on) aka Jim Benning likes to sign big contracts and clauses to the wrong players.

Myers is worth 3 Million, not 6 Million. So I see where you are coming from but that is my reasoning.

He might be that big but he's always played like he's an understand damn. Joker brings more to the table for the sabres than Myers. He's also cheaper and younger than Myers. No reason for the sabres to make this trade or have any interest in bringing back Myers going forward

Ok, I still don't want anything to do with Myers, but I agree that at 3 million, he should have value to SOMEBODY. I would think a playoff team would take him as an insurance policy at the deadline at the very least. I've seen more than enough of myers in a Sabres jersey, please shop elsewhere.

Except for the fact that he is caught out of position frequently and takes a heck of a lot of penalties. Trust me, I saw Myers at his best when he was with Buffalo, I know his upside. Sadly his career hasn't continued at the success he initially had. Agree that Myers is worth 3 mil, maybe even 4. Regardless, Sabres don't want to take his contract unless we are getting something valuable, like a prospect in a position of need or a nice pick. We wouldn't be trading a RHD that the team and organization believes in
