I just have no interest in Puljujarvi, and the value is really off. CBJ have to pass on that like they did in the ‘16 draft.

I agree that the puljarvi payment is probably too high, I was just guessing. I would love to see him on a prove it deal for the #CBJ though. What would be a better deal bemmer and a third.. I'd definitely take a flyer on him and see where it goes.

Puljujarvi is a young, two-way, play-driving winger that would instantly improve this Columbus team. Not sure why you wouldn’t want him.

I'm not sure he'll ever live up to potential, but #CBJ are historically awesome as a fresh start location. Having Laine here will help too.. If we can obtain him at a reasonable cost I say give it a whirl.

Young? Kind of. I consider 24-28 mid age, and as a 4OA pick he should have blossomed by now if he was going to.

Two way play driver? Last year was the first year he had a good CF% and he was playing with the best player in the game.

He also has a high PDO, and he disappears in the playoffs. Not someone I’m interested in. Columbus has an overload of NHL wingers right now and he’s is absolutely not a major improvement over what we have. We also don’t know what Kent Johnson is going to show in training camp so we’re better off just waiting till then.

He was passed over in the 2016 draft by Columbus for a reason. I doubt Jarmo would sacrifice assets to bring him in. Maybe if he came at a big discount but I wouldn’t even do Bemstrom and a third. Maybe Bemstrom and a 6th. Even then, he’d have to sign at less than $3m AAV. We can’t take for granted that anyone will want to take on Nyquist and Beans money to make room.
