The Leafs fail to make the playoffs with Murray as their top goalie. Wild card at best, Tbay, Flo and Bos will all be better. Even the Sens are getting ready to push past the Leafs.

If the rumours are true that the Isles will be signing Kadri, than even the isles can knock the Leafs out of the wild card spot.

Why would the Habs add Harris when they could just use the 2nd to offer sheet Sandin?

You know Sandin doesnt magically come with an ELC if you trade for him, you still gotta sign him. So might as well make it an offer sheet and keep harris

the cost to keep him and the cost to poach him are different . you know how that works right?

Toronto cant afford anything over 2.1m which is the min for a 2nd round pick offer sheet. Which is around the amount wed have to give him either way
