Dubois AND a 2nd for two bad contracts? What a deal for Winnipeg.. 😂

Wouldn't Edmonton just keep Barrie? That deal makes about as much sense for them as that awful Habs trade does for Winnipeg.

In what world would Chicago have any interest in Wheeler, they wouldnt so this trade isn't happening.

That is easily the worst trade for Dubois I’ve ever seen.
Jets take 2 lousy contracts on mediocre at best players and add a 2nd to Dubois…WTAF is this crap.
That’s a great big, massive, resounding HELL NO to the mtl trade.
I wouldn’t give the 2nd alone for those 2.. As Drouin drags any value to the not a chance level, and Anderson is maybe worth a 2nd if retained

The Oilers would just keep Barrie

Chicago is rebuilding, so why would they take 2 yrs of Wheeler for 1 yr of Toews?

Imo all bad deals for Jets. These trades are sideway moves at best.
The Peg should get good young players for Dubois. Wheeler would hold more value than these trades of broken down Toes and a 5th ...and i wouldn't touch Barrie at all.

Probably the best moves that jets can do it sideway moves because everyone have them on their list wink !! BTW Wheeler and Scheifele have no value to any team with all the smoke around them ...

Funny how jets fans are pretending to be in a position of power with PLD. They are over a barrel. No team will overpay for him. Teams will just wait for him to be UFA and take their chances. He’s a good player but he’s not a superstar.

Montreal probably takes him during his UFA period. Bound to happen so learn to accept jets fans

But at the end of his contract, he is an RFA, not UFA. The only ways a team can get him is to trade for him

I’m saying wait until he’s UFA in 2 years. There is no need for him over the next 2 years…he will likely sign another 1 year deal again

As a die hard Habs fan... I would feel like a thief accepting that deal.

If Winnipeg GM was going to offer that deal, I would say yes so fast, he wouldn't even have time to reach "...and a 2nd round draft pick..."
