Marcus Pettersson might have been a good idea before we re-signed Alex Edler, but he doesn't work now. At this point, we need every trade to be both cap-neutral and roster-neutral, and this one is neither. (The value is accurate, though.). Note that we already have 4 guys on the left (Anderson, Bjornfot, Edler and Moverare).

Doesn't work for the Kings from both a cap situation and that Pettersson hasn't eaten top-4 minutes for two seasons and lacks the special teams experience the Kings are looking for.

I haven't been sold on Pettersson, his decline in minutes has always unnerved me.

Yeah there is nothing appealing for the blues in that offer. Would rather have Barbashev and his 2.2 mil cap hit vs Zucker and his 5.5 mil cap hit. We don't have the space for it and Legare and a 4th is nothing. It's an easy no for the blues

Not roasting, just commenting lol......

I would say the value isn't there for the Blues, and they don't have the cap space. The Kings don't need Pettersson, and they don't have the cap space - plus you wouldn't get that return. The Oilers really don't have the cap space, plus Carter has a NMC. And doesn't have much value
