Wanted to get some opinions on what dubios is worth and what teams would potentially be interested for a guy that is still under team control

I'm going to assume it's a first A teir prospect young roster player and some other asset but I have no clue bc for some reason people don't value him as what he is for the risk of him leaving but let me ask why do people trade for ufas at the deadline because they want to improve there team and are okay mortgaging some future to get a better chance at success

He's RFA but with his attitude toward hitting free agency the next summer he's basically a rental plus one year of QO so I don't think I'd give much more than what Giroux was traded for. Obviously everything changes if it's a trade and sign.

Trading him at the deadline with the retention and under team control for one more year should definitely get you a 1st, player and multiple prospects/picks IMO
I imagine a bidding war would ensue and teams would pay out the butt
