These guys have near entire top-9 in just prospects, plenty of goalies with Portillo and Levy, and plenty of defensemen with Power, Dahlin, Jokiharju, and Samuelsson. Now they got at least 4 picks in the top 64 in a loaded 2023 draft? Good lord, hop on the Buffalo wagon before it is too late. Wish the Islanders had player development like this

How did skinner and okposo get that much money? This squad going to be rather legit, if they can develop a goalie or two, compliment the lineup with a bargain free agent here and there, and have a plan to develop and hopefully put decent contracts on there kids. Ya no reason this squad isn’t in the conversation to win east in a few years.

How much money did tavares earn his linemates? Okposo probably good room guy, but damn 6 million per, that’s a healthy chunk of change. Your 100 percent on skinner, one 50 goal season got him paid, amazing how many gms know there shelf life, and have minimal regard for the next guy. If the rest of the squad passes him and not that far off elc, they may be able to manage his 9 million for the life of the contract. Secondary scoring and on a mismatch line might not be too bad.
