Description

I do not think the Sens would be in play for Oettinger, but I do think the Sens could have a decent package for the Stars. I also have no idea what an extension could look like for him.

Sogaard (who I like a lot) will easily be a starter in the NHL in a few seasons.
Forsberg fills that hole for the Stars now and Sogaard fills the hole once he becomes an NHL starter.

There are no ELITE prospects in that trade for Oettinger, and no first round picks...

Yeah DAL declines that easily. A 2G and four assets that are not in contention to get into our lineup isn't generating interest.

It was Jarventie's first AHL season and first season on N.A. sized ice. Jarventie was 19 years old. Since this is a Dallas deal I'll use a comparison that fits best.
Another Finn, taken in the 2nd round, who has the same shot, speed and size...
the only difference... Roope HIntz was 21 years old for his first AHL season. He had 35 points in 70 games.
