    Sabres are already above the cap floor, aka they shouldn't be helping other teams without a first or an equivalent package being sent to the sabres.

    Why would they do those trades, Pegula doesnt want to waste money, he's lucky enough to be at the cap floor to re-coop his covid losses, and the Boston trade has 0 value

    Taking on over $7,000,000 would cost at least two seconds.
    Other teams seem to be more amenable to trading cap for picks, but Pegula would block these trades.
    Sean Monahan to MTL hurt the Sabres by making the Canadians rebuild stronger.
    Pegula is hurting his team by not willing to spend some cash.
    A first round pick in 2025 could be the chip needed to add a veteran player to a near playoff team.
