For that package, you'd be lucky to get Janis Moser from the Coyotes. Muzzin has absolutely no value to a team which is going to be in the bottom 3 the remaining 2 seasons of his contract, Kerfoot's worth is only his resale value at the trade deadline, and Anderson is Jeremy Bracco 2.0. That doesn't get you a top-4 defenseman even if you don't agree with me that Chychrun is an All-Star contender.

There's no sense in getting Chychrun or Larsson because they can't afford them, or trading away Simmonds (he's fulfills his role decent enough), Anderson (he's not going to tip the scale, so might as well just keep him until he can become a role player in the NHL, perhaps Engvall's replacement next year), if Muzzin is somehow traded, no reason to trade Sandin, wouldn't be surprised if he played more games than Chychrun despite having his own injury issues.

Matthews would never sign in Arizona, he wants to Win a cup not be part of a rebuild. He also doesn't want to play in a college rink and on a team that has financial issues.

You're absolutely certain he doesn't go HOME and play for the team he grew up dreaming of playing for? You're also certain AZ doesn't figure the rebuild out in 2-3 years?

They need an arena and if they haven't improved drastically by the time Matthews contract is up why would he go there?

Go home and save the team he grew up rooting for. Besides Az is a lot nicer in The winter than Ohhh Toronto Montreal New York Detroit etc.
