There is no incentive for Winnipeg to trade one year of Dubois for two years of Dvorak, take back an uncompensated cap dump, a meh bottom sixer or to wait 3 drafts for a first. The Jets get a much better return trading Dubois as a pure rental at the TDL in two years.

I think that you took your eye off the ball here. Anaheim won't be contributing two seconds for taking 50% of Dadonov's and Allen's cap hits while facilitating their trade somewhere else. Unless you mean that Anaheim would want to acquire them at the trade deadline, which is utterly ridiculous. Among other things, we already know that Anaheim is on Dadonov's no-trade list and the Ducks certainly don't need a goalie.
