Can't think of a single reason the Blues would even consider that. You could drop Barby from the offer and they'd still hard pass on it.

Los Angeles declines. Two proven second-pairing defensemen for a bottom-pairing defender, an A prospect who would nevertheless be behind 5 better left-handed forwards on our depth chart, an RhD prospect that we don't need, and two draft picks when we have one of the top five prospect pools in the NHL? No, thanks.
