Description

I understand that sandin wants more money. The closest contract I can think of and compare is the druzi contract. I think that would be the best contract for him.

I also understand that he didn't play a lot in the season because he got injured. He also plays good on the left and not so much on the right. Let's say muzzin get's hurt and goes on LTIR, so then sandin takes his spot, but not for long. leafs a kinda packed in left D and right D.

I know that dubas doesn't want him to be traded either. I doubt he'll get offer sheeted. if you remember from a quite a few years ago that nylander got signed in november and this might be similar situation.

we could just scratch holl, and place gio on the right and sandin on the left and see how that goes. but what if holl has a bounce back season. like you never know. he had one pretty bad season. he could change it

Sandin wants a spot on the left side. If you give Keefe those 7 Dmen he is in the pressbox. At best he is playing half a season on his weak side.

Highly doubt Winnipeg pays that for Kerfoot. It appears to be a tough market for teams needing to move cap with so few teams having the cap space available. It’s obvious that’s GMs aren’t doing any favours

Sandin, Muzzin, and Gio aren't playing on the right side. It's either Holl, or finding an upgrade for Holl.

Muzzin will likely be on the bottom pairing for load management, and will likely split games with Gio. Sandin is ready for the 2nd pairing position.

Absolutely true. In isolation (i.e., to a team with plenty of cap space and an open roster slot), Kerfoot is worth at least a third and probably more. But with this cap environment, the fact that the offseason is effectively over until things shake out at training camp, and Kerfoot's ten-team no-trade clause, he's going to be difficult to move productively.
