Description

breaking the Suzy-CC duo might hurt at first, but I believe its better to have a sleeper 3rd line that can generate a lot of offense.

A Salf- Dach- Caufield line is going to be given only offensive assignment at the start. Two giant with our CC to get the pucks in deep and cycling... Slaf is gonna open so much ice for CC it's gonna be crazy... Dach will be able to feed CC all day long.

Drouin - Suzuki -Anderson worked SUPER well before Drouin got injured. I believe it would be great to increase his value before the TD to run that line.

after TD - Slaf and CC might end-up on Suzuki's line. Suzuki can play with anybody.. even Hoffman. I don't know about Dach.

Dadonov - Dvorak - Gally will try to recreate the Tatar - Danault -gally line's success from the past. A lot of tough mission on those guys. The hope is to make Dadonov look good before TD.

That Dcore is something... LHD is decent - we have no #1 LHD but Matty and Eddy can fit on a top 4 anywhere. The RHD is a sh*tshow... just plain desolation.

I don't think Barron is the answer. at least, not right now. I wonder how much would a guy like Schneider (NYR) cost? probably more than what Dallas paid for Lundkvist.

a first round pick in 2023 + Good player/good prospect at a minimum.

all of that to say that PK could have been a brightspot at RD during a season where habs are tanking... IDK- it's just me.

Rangers fans were mad that I suggested him as the centrepiece in a Ben Chiarot trade. Doubt they move him now that Lundkvist is gone.

Best to hope for Cameron Allen.

Do you really? You have Fox ... a24 year old stud RHD and Trouba, your captain, both signed long term... When Schneider's ELC runs out - are you gonna pay big bucks for a guy on the 3rd pair?

Dach could be available for real doh.

but i would not matter on the habs - we strive to draft top 5 next draft - at least Subby could retire as a hab... and not as a free agent.

he could have made a show on and off the ice.

Nothing you would want to give up. Dach would be the minimum but he is atrocious on faceoffs so personally I don’t want him. If that was the guy they got I would ask what else came with him.

Rangers have no reason to trade Schneider, so it would have to be a huge overpayment for them to think about it.

Maybe Re-address closer to the trade deadline, but I’m certain the rangers are comfortable with what they’ve got on the right side D.

If he doesn’t reach that potential by 2025-26, we’ll trade him then. But it’s only 2022.
