I'd argue he's a good 2-way dman, but his numbers are a product of playing with Makar. Habs would come to regret this contract very quickly.

He's a good dman but not worth that much. If we got Fantilli or even Bedars and added Toews, this team still isn't a playoff team in the Atlantic. You'd be selling the farm way to early.

Avs would have to really consider that offer. Toews is underrated btw, and he’s a legit top pair Dman

Why the hell would the habs want Toews??!?! Especially at that cost l? He s a frat defender but in no way does he fit with our timeline.
