Since when was Robertson worth more than DeBrincat? Wrong team adding here

I am going to adjust the trade a little, let me know if you think this is fair,

I just don't really get the point. At best it's a deck chair swap. And at worst it's a downgrade, 1 less year of term, and way more expensive this year. Plus it looks bad on the organization.

value wise its alright it doesnt make sense for either team though. i feel like robertson has more value for many reasons (bigger, stronger, younger, better all around player) but this is probably the best trade for robo dallas wise so far. good job

My thoughts would be that Ottawa gets Robertson and immediately signs him for 8 years and then they have their entire core locked up 6+ years, Dallas gets Debrincat for this year and he fits in their current salary cap mess and they can resign him when Pavelski's deal expires at the end of this year. I do agree that it probably would not happen but wanted to explain my thought process from both sides.

I personally would do that in a heartbeat, with or without Dellandrea
