Bourgault is a great prospect. Oilers won’t trade him for Dunn

I think its fair trade the oliers are set on centers and Dunn helps there d core which they need.

A few thoughts from a Kraken fan:

a. This is pretty solid, but I don't think Colorado pulls the trigger. As someone pointed out above, they'll have some difficulties fitting Wennberg under the cap, especially after MacKinnon's extension kicks in next year.

b. The Kraken can get a lot more than one second round pick in 2024 for Soucy retained at the deadline.

c. I think the value is pretty even, but I doubt either team bites. Edmonton has a surplus of LD, and Seattle is exceedingly more likely to hang onto Dunn than trade him, as he's an RFA they can extend as a long-term piece.

Barrie >>>> Dunn. And you think Edmonton is going to add a top prospect at a weak position and a 2nd?? Your only hope is that Holland dies laughing at the proposal and you can forge his signature and get it into the league office before they find out about the untimely demise of Edmonton's HoF GM.

tears of joy

I think Soucy is worth more than a second. Also I think if the isles make a move at the deadline they will be targeting a winger. My money is on Lou targeting Patrick Kane tbh.
