Where is the superstar / high end talent going to Dallas for a young superstar? Krebs is okay but hasnt shown anything to make you think hes going to be elite. good middle 6 player. Olofsson imo is a great player but his value is around a 2nd maybe a 1st? Rosén is most intriguing to me but idk if im Dallas i would want a elite level player back or a really high end prospect. like Cozen + for him. doubt Buffalo does that + they need a true #1 center more than a winger imo

They should prefer to sign Robertson themselves. If they can't, then this will be about the best offer they'll get.

No one's trying to convince you of anything. If Dallas can't sign him, this is a fair offer. If they don't take it, that's not Buffalo's problem. But no one here is desperate to make a deal.

is that what you think? you think a ton a prospects that have average to good ceilings will get a ppg 23 year old superstar? you guys just gave Thompson 7.1m after having 1 good season ... would you trade him for Gurianov Grushnikov + 2nd? TO BE CLEAR ROBERSON is a lot better than TT

No it won't be, the offer is absolute garbage. Rosen managed a grand total of 4 points last year in SHL, and is looking like the biggest bust in Sabres prospect pool, Olofsson is decent but a bit overrated and Krebs, despite being promising, is a question mark and would struggle making it in Dallas lineup.

You're either way overvaluing the package you're offering, or underrating Robertson's value.

IMO Krebs is a massive bust. i think Buffalo should have asked for Brisson. Krebs was suppose to be this superstar center but hasnt done anything warrant that type of evaluation. basically a glorified Kotkaniemi type situation where you overvalue a guy based off potential hell never reach or draft position

Olofsson is basically Gurianov... Dallas doesnt really need him

Rosen imo is solid but agian you can easily draft a guy in the 2nd 3rd round this upcoming draft with a similar level of skill.. example Capitals got Iorio in the 2nd johnson 3rd Chesley 2nd.... no real need to throwaway a superstar for easily draft able talent

I think the jury is out for Krebs this year. Getting the ice time needed in Vegas was never going to happen due to their fixation of trading every prospect they have, and getting transferred to a new team as a young guy will usually take its time. This year he needs to start to produce, he's still 21 and turning 22 in January so he's by no means old, but to get compared to the likes of Suzuki, Norris and the lot, which is definitely the type of role BUF acquired him for, we need to see a clear step up now.

Not a single premium piece. Krebs is not a top prospect. You didn't even include a first round pick. Dreadful..

Or trade for their 3rd round pick back and make an offer sheet Dallas can’t match. You’ll take less that way.

Then get the pick back and go for it. Stats will match any offer sheet at that level. And you think you won’t pay a premium to get that pick back??? Lol

A 3rd is only worth what it’s worth. What do they care what you plan to do with it? The Sabres have picks to spare if needed. Can the Stars afford to pay him $8 million a year? If that’s true just do it already so these posts can stop.
