21 man roster....Is that really cap compliant? And then likely a overage of bonus overage which would reduce the cap next season. Can't see Rangers or any team wanting to follow that route.

Not a chance Kane signs for $4M, that's about half of what he gets. Further, KK (unless he lights it up this season which then NY won't trade him) and a 2nd isn't enough...Chytil won't have much value to the Hawks.

Kane is not happening without a 3rd team to retain or a big season ending injury, no team runs a 21 man roster with 46k in cap space

Rangers will have to give up one of those 1sts in a Patty Kane trade. This isn't Patty's Bargain Auto's.

Edit: I do think he'll be traded to the Rangers.

Make the 2nd into Dallas'1st 2023 and 2024 2nd along with krastov kappo for Kane 50% retained Stillman and a 3rd 2024. To me that is fair trade if a 3rd team needs to get involved then make the appropriate adjustments to the trade.
