Description
I could see Minnesota adding something based off the fact Dumba is in a contract year and Garland still has 4 years left on his deal. Other than that I think this could be beneficial for both teams.

2nd deal is just wishful thinking, I firmly believe Puljujarvi would be much better with EK and Foligno than Greenway is.

Poolprty for cheap makes sense for MN. Put him with Boldy.

No interest in the Dumba trade. Garland isn't a great fit and that MN d-corps is yuck.

Garland would eat up the majority of our available money for next offseason after we re-sign Boldy. I'd want a better player if we're going to handicap ourselves that much.

Issue with Edmonton moving jp is they need a replacement body coming back specifically to fill out the top nine on the right side that is also cheaper and not a downgrade that's extremely difficult deal to come by which is why he's still an oiler and very likely will finish the year an oiler.

It's going to be a downgrade, just due to the cap (for almost all of the teams).

    Just from the Wild:
-Jost could be serviceable for EDM, but the cap savings is only $1m. I have a low opinion of Jost, and think it would be a bad trade for EDM.
-Duhaime is who I would pick as a decent fit for EDM. A nothing special, big, physical, cheap, will chip in a few points RFA player; that can eat up 4th line minutes without worry. Basically the type of player every team tries to add at the TDL. $2.25m in cap savings.
-Dewar energy guy. He's a fringe player in my book, but is only $800k. Others are higher on him than I am.
    -Freddy G. I think he's off limits because he's the coach/GM guy. $1.2m x 1 contract, 2-way bottom-6 C/W that had 44p last year.
