If you are not in a playoff position by January 3rd, it’s probably safe to sell everything.

Not much more to sell besides Barbashev. His value is 100% up in the air, completely dependent upon if he can repeat production from last season. Either way Armstrong would have a tough decision to re-sign or trade him.

Flames have lots of TDL cap space no reason to include Lucic

Flames would be interested in Barbashev, Tarasenko, O’Reilly, Acciari & Neighbours if they’re available come Trade Deadline time

Barbashev would be a good future replacement for Backlund

The Blues are not doing all this retaining, and these offers are bad even without it. Relax, man. Haven't even played a game yet.

I'd rather keep our captain, and not take lowball offers. These are worse than what Chiarot went for even before retention. CHIAROT.

As a Caps fan I'm not against it if there's an extension involved.

I'd rather move him than let him walk to FA

Great, accept a suitable, worthy offer. I doubt he wants to leave anyway and it won't be that hard to keep one of them.
