You gotta add Foligno or Greenway for that Boston trade to work

People have nothing better to bait and troll on here. Minnesota isn't giving up a 1st round pick for Jake, nor giving up their cheap, 1st pairing d, and better d for a worse free agent one. Minnesota block your number. This deal are so unrealistic and such crap for Minnesota. Somehow Minnesota adds a top d prospect also? Okay not happening, even though the DEAL is beyond bad

I don’t see a 1st pairing D, unless you mean O’Rourke down in Iowa?

Spurgeon is the Wild's 1D (Wild broadcasts and Russo say so), so whoever is with him is automatically a top pair d-man. Things like ToI, usage, ability, etc don't matter.

Russo's word is gospel and should never be questioned or doubted.

Right, because the award winning beat-writer who is nationally regarded and considered to be one of the, if not the, best in the business by anyone and everyone of importance in the Hockey world is a complete and utter hack who knows less than some rando on the internet.

Gotcha.

He might not always be right, but I'd take his word on something over yours every time.

Thank you for providing an example to me last post. Spurgeon isn't the 1st pair by any metric outside of the Wild/Russo saying so.

Look how many posts on here have "Russo said" about anything so that should just be the end of it. He is still a credible writer, but anything that isn't in an article is nothing more than the same level of speculation we have on here. He won't put something "MN won't trade a future 1st" in writing because he'll lose some credibility for being wrong if it does happen.

Boston not interested. Off-season maybe. You can keep Petan regardless.
