Why are the jets adding so much when Kaprizov is barely better than Connor and Scheifele is way better than Hartman?

Unlike Dickinson, Pearson is actually a decent player. Wouldn't expect them to have to pay to move him

Kyle Connor is great, he's easily a top 20 winger in the league.

Kaprizov is arguably a top FIVE winger and possibly the best LW in the game right now.

Scheifele is definitely better than Hartman though. But Hartman is easily one of the best contracts in the league, he's a middle six player making 4th line money.

Trading out a franchise level player on a stupidly good contract is grand negligence.

This team is much, much worse than what we had before.

Scheifele is a solid low-end 1C/High-end 2C, and Connor is elite. But the loss of Kaprizov and Hartman sink this team hard, a franchise level winger and one of the best contracts in the league.

Scheifele is miles better than hartman and his contract is better. Kaprizov may be better than Connor but hes not a 1st, 1st round draft pick, 3rd, 2nd round draft pick better lmao.

My Question other than the obvious with Cole is even if he is found to be not guilty per se' is Fluery going to take his job. I think it's only 2 games,but he has played really well.

Dude, Scheifele is a high-end 2C/Low-end 1C making $6.1M. It's a solid deal for his level of play and production. It's not a steal, by any stretch of the imagination. Or better. It's right in line with what he should be making.

Hartman is a High-end 3C/Low-end 2C making $1.7M. His level of play and production since signing means he should be making $5-6M in his own right. He isn't, instead he's getting paid like a 4th line depth player.

Hartman's contract is much much better than Scheifele's by far. This isn't even up for debate, c'mon.

A good trade for Minnesota but not Winnipeg, cause someone in a game agreed to it means nothing.

None of these trades are realistic or are supposed to me. I’m just asking for feedback about how well I’ve done in the game. I know it’s a terrible trade for Winnipeg, but for me it’s great.

You didn’t really do much I said he’s better but not by that much he’s not the difference of Schiefele and Hartman not to mention all the others in the trade that would go down as a top 5 worst trade of all time

Just by going off the stats and information I listed, it plainly shows Kaprizov had 15 more points with *lesser* linemates (Hartman) than Connor had with Scheifele last year.

He was .15 higher in Pts/G.

Was worth 4.2 in GSVA, that's wins attributable to a player. Which is 1.6 more than Connor.

And according to market value was underpaid by $5M last year. Conversely, Connor is only $2.1M underpaid by market value. Kaprizov = $10M+ player. Connor = $9M player.

Connor is elite, Kaprizov is a franchise level player.

Kaprizov is in the same tier range as Kucherov.

Connor isn't. He's a tier below them. They ain't close chief.

Let's put it this way. If Kaprizov had a legitimate Low-end 1C centering him last season, IE Scheifele, he's hitting 115-120 points. Connor couldn't crack 100 WITH Scheifele.

Bro had one season where he was at that level I’d like to see him do it multiple times til then he’s only slightly better. Plus he’s just in a completely better system it’s not the Jets players fault they have been in the worst system in the league for years. Hartman and Kaprizov both had career years if you go off the last 2-3 years it’s an absolute FLEECE by Minnesota if it was Schief and Connor for those two. I’d like to see them have a repeat season but also the jets players got screwed when the Jets picked up an equally bad coach for offensive output.
