I figured. Not adding knies or niemela to a trade for a rental. Not sure if there are any other prospects Vancouver would be interested in. Trade nets them cap space to take on a bad contract in future trades.

Yeah i am pretty sure Van wouldn't be interested in anything outside of Knies or Niemela or Liljgreen

Voit's on pace for 140 points this season on a very bad Sarnia team. Villenueve would be the next prospect under Niemela. Think that would might be two players they would have some interest in. Didn't want to add him because he is about a year or two out from the NHL.

Voit is also also a 5ft9 Center, Who would be stuck behind Pettersson and Miller long term here, Villeneuve is okay, think we would be looking for a better prospect in a Horvat deal

5' 10 winger, right handed plays both wings. Maybe a team that would like to re sign him adds a bit more.

Can't see the non playoff Jets trading a second for UFA Kerfoot (who has M NTC). IMO the difference between Kerfoot and Horvat isn't nearly that much.

He's 5'9", there is some to no value in undersized wingers

They would most likely trade him if they are rebuilding which is the premise of this ACGM, although I don't think they will. I do expect to see some changes soon though if they don't turn things around fast.

I think if they try and go rebuild, they’d rather re-sign schenn. Perfect Vet to have on a rebuilding team. Great character and leadership, cheap to have, will play heavy minutes, but doesn’t have the skill to push your team over the edge. Can shelter/protect young players. Keeping him is better than using him as a throw in or trading him for a like a 4th or whatever

Those are some valid points, I guess if he was willing to resign then perhaps they would rather keep him. I was assuming that some team would overpay for him.

He is 5' 10" and yes there is is plenty of value in smaller wingers. Think we have already proven your ineptitude with prospects. Robertson not a top 10 prospect in the leafs organization. Remember that gem?

Little bit early to say they are eliminated. If the difference between the two isn't as much as I have here maybe I should be asking for more from the jets lol.

I would be happy to spend on a player like horvat. You know rather than the next foligno or ritchie.
