doesn't really matter who he is. Why would we trade an amazing young player who is locked in the long term for a 20 year old who still has a lot of unknowns. NJD would easily need to pay more

So, let me see if I follow your "logic" (or lack thereof more accurately) TB let Schenn walk for absolutely nothing didn't offer him a contract yet they just over a year later trade a 3&7 for him and this to you is what Julien Briesbois does?!! In what universe does that make any sense?!!! Seriously please I beg provide a rational explanation for that kind of decision making!

I'd be willing to pay the correct value for one but that's simply a brutal proposal for Garland smile You gotta try and be at least slightly realistic! In what world would ANY team give up a prospect like Lambert to acquire Garland?

At least the Garland trade is no where near as grotesquely unbalanced as Schenn. Getting a 3&7 from a team who a year ago didn't offer him a contract and let him walk FOR NOTHING!!!!

You talk about Lambert as if he went number 1 overall. Let me remind you he went 30th overall and had four points in finland last year
