Voit with two assists on the night. He is now 11 points back on the OHL lead from Matthew Maggio (NYI) who has been on an absolute tear.

It’s working on the defensive side, steals, playing in contact, the things that are going to translate to him playing at the next level. He’s a small guy. So he’s going to have to overcome that. Knies does a great job of stealing the puck and help set up the goal. He has 31 points in 29 games.

I saw Nick Richard say something about his release too, I really struggle if this shots from distance are beating NHL goalies.

I promise I’m not looking for excuses to hate, I want him to be a good player for the Leafs but I just don’t see it. I know points are not everything but 45 on the year only 19 at 5v5 in junior is troubling.

I have no doubt his defensive play will carry him to an NHL role but IMO the Leafs really blew that pick.

Koster gets little to no press aside from a few select Leafs prospect watchers, but I am a fan. I wouldn't be shocked if he's an NCAA FA signing by a different team, some day, but I quite like him. There's no discernable spot for him on the Leafs even after Gio retires as an LD which is unfortunate, but who knows.

Is that what they are? I might have to retract my statement, thats kind of sick. They don't show up very well in the Twitter video and I would assume something like that is being done for a decent cause

I really like Max Ellis as a bottom 6 option down the stretch. Strong defensive impact for the Marlies this season and is starting to find that offensive touch. He was also the MVP in Traverse City last year in my eyes, so much tenacity in his game

This man is way too good for the ECHL. That’s 48 points in 33 games, now I will say Pavel only be a +1 is concerning but my God he has an NHL shot.
