It's going to take a 2nd (maybe even late 1st) at the rate Domi is playing at currently. Plenty of teams will put up a 2nd for him right now.

Poolman being on long term injury reserve is honestly better than paying Hamonic 3 mil

Spending a 3rd on Hamonic is honestly better than spending a 2nd on Poolman.

Poolman's contract is on the books until 2025 and he'll have to be taken off LTIR at some point before then.

And Hoglander is struggling mightily this season, so we wouldn't want him either.

Why is everyone fixating on Poolman in that trade Hoglander is the main appealing factor Poolman is LTIR fodder
