Xhekaj is not a player the Habs are likely to move, he makes the back end nasty and is mobile.

Edmonton could use Ylonen, but Armia is not a piece they would need, and I can't see them giving a 2nd with Barrie.

Armia's contract is worse than Barrie's and he fills no need for EDM while prospects like Ylonen don't tend to return a 2nd. Easy pass.

Good point.

The idea here is that we have Matheson, Guhle and Harris on the left side, and in a few years down the road Hutson might knock at the door. Harris *can* play on the right side but he's better on the left. All in all, I absolutely understand the value that Xhejak brings to the team but if we think long-term I don't know where we play him.

Xhekaj would have a tremendously trading value, especially for a Western team.

I'm curious to hear you on this.
