Soucy costs more to acquire, and I’m not sure jones is better than Bryson.

Price on soucy? He projects as a second line D which in the past costs about a 2nd

Top four defenseman can command up to a first at the deadline. Which is what I expect to happen with Soucy.

Are you not aware that they have 3 injured defensmen?

How many teams are strong playing their 7th, 8th and 9th defensmen all at the same time?

When Samuelsson, jokiharju and Lyubushkin are back, they will be fine

Not to say I'd be opposed to a move later in the season

I was hypothetically trading for him right now, which i figure brings it down a touch since the kraken likely wont make the playoffs, and have a ton of D

I'm fully aware. I'm sure they'll be fine as well! Im just not a fan of Jokiharju though so Soucy replaces him and he becomes the 7th D.

As far as bryson...he can just go

The Kraken are also trying to resign Soucy, as they don’t want to move him. But if he gets moved at the deadline, lot at the Chiarot deal and add on to that. And if it’s before the deadline, starting price would be a first. Anything less and Seattle will gladly hold onto him.

Agree with a lot of this, I don't hate Bryson this much though. I think he played 22 minutes last night, which I don't wanna see.

I'd definitely take Soucy for a 2nd, but I don't get the Bryson hate.

He just gets out muscled a lot in front of the net, which is where they struggle the most imo. I really like his breakouts and first pass, but after that hes just average

CHI might accept that. Not sure how CHI's front office feels about him right now, but personally I don't see much of a future for him in CHI.
