Not a bad offer, however I assume Myers is mitigating some value right? Would imagine if the Canucks trade Horvat, it will come with retention and no cap dumps to squeeze the max value out of him

I assume Vancouver just shuts their mouth and takes the offer here, cause this is a better offer than they will get otherwise for Horvat at 50% retained, and they're moving a cap dump.

Still getting a legit top6 signed beyond this year, a very good prospect and a 2nd. I mean Avs fans dont even think Horvat is worth more than a 1st as a rental. Lebrun saying many teams in on Horvat even those not in contention as they want to extend Horvat!

As original poster if you took Rosen away does it become more reasonable for Buffalo and still enough for Vancouver?
