I dont think Calgary would dismiss that immediately, Zary's a tough ask though, I like the idea of bolstering the RW.

They would actually because Josh Anderson is overpaid and Calgary need Looch's cap space next season

Dreaming... You are not getting rid of Anderson. If, you need to take on equal term and equal cap hit-ish.
If I was NYI, I wouldn't do that trade either.

Boston does not want Lucic.

If they have that kind of cap space available they are not wasting it on him.

They arent trading Anderson. Again, missing the point of culture and team chemistry. Charts dont play on the ice, these analytics teams without actual hard work and determination never work, imagine a team with a bunch of Ondrej Kase on the squad! Anderson's at his age and pedigree you dont find. Even trading for a 1st doesnt replace his motor and leadership in the lineup. Besides the fact, he loves playing in Montreal. You see it on the ice with guys like Gallagher and Anderson rubbing off on Caufield hitting players like Tyler Myers and causing turnovers that lead to goals. Something many here that havent played the game and would sit out with a hangnail cant comprehend.

I know about team culture and chemistry. Was just trying to make the top 6 more skilled and become more of an analytical team (like Hughes and Gorton want). To me the trade was a hard one to make, as remember that Toffoli was liked and loved playing in MTL, and he still was traded. I don't think Anderson is a cap dump (as many on here think he is).
