Completely unrealistic to expect Winnipeg to wait 3 years for a mid first and to expect Dubois to sign a long term, below market value contract.

With Owen Beck coming up we won't need PLD. What's the rush he will be cheap after RFA and take a big discount if he thinks he has a chance at a cup in Montreal and Montreal will make an offer if they think they have a chance at a cup with him. Anyone remember how PLD wasn't so great in his draft year? Can't say the same for Beck.

giving 2-3 years development to Beck is the best idea, no need to urge him.

Lol 3rd liner. Mantha? Why do you want him if that’s all he is. It’ll cost more than a worse “3rd liner” and 2 average at best players. How about Slafkovsky? He averages like 11 minutes a game. He’s a 4th liner so that should be a huge win for you guys.

    Anderson plays 14:19/g

Anderson as the same value than Mantha and i'm offering a rookie + a spare part. Your definition of giving up is biaised at best !

    Anderson has similar value?

    46.08cf% 44.73ff% 39.10xgf% average like .46p/g 38p / year.
He makes 5.5 for the next 5 years. Yeah amazing deal

52.04cf% 51.80ff% 51.25xgf% aim pace for 41p. Mantha is a better possession and defensive and offensive player. He’s also not locked down for a long term at a terrible price lol.

You’d have to be an idiot to think they have similar values.

he will cost more at the same age while Anderson is locked while the cap go up !! No wonder you guys love to point out stats or salary when there is more into the game. Habs are also a third tier team where it could hurt such stats. So yeah Andy on a better team could come close to Mantha with the same hockey style.

I just need more size on my third line in 23-24 to protect Gally along the board.

For 5.5m you can get a WAY better player. Lmfao. Sheary will cost less and is a way more effective player than Anderson. FFS Protas is a younger better version of him. I’d rather just give him that money. “ Anderson is locked while the cap go up !! No wonder you guys love to point out stats or salary when there is more into the game” spoken like a guy who doesn’t think and just talks to hear himself. If a guy is playing terrible while getting paid a lot that’s not a good thing lol. Also Mantha isn’t a guy you add to a line to protect a player. That’s Wilson

For Mantha? A 1st+ a little more. I know people will say that's too much but the only reason Mantha isn't producing way more is Laviolette keeps putting him bottom 6 players. It's veru frustrating. I know if we trade him he'll play in some teams top 6 and put up 70 points.
