Description

According to Mike Grier, he would be willing to hear offers about Karlsson, Ottawa needs a top 4 D. Even though he isn't the type of defenseman they need, one thing that isn't spoken enough about with the team's defence is that they don't bring enough offence as well. Chabot and Sanderson have respectfully 6 and 7 points in 14 and 15 games, which isn't enough if you want to help. Yes the team is scoring at a very good rate, but the defence isn't helping, which is leading to them losing lots of games. Ottawa could decide to go the edmonton's way and try to outscore their defence woes.

yea the big issue here is the sharks won’t deal with more than 25% retention. it’s to hard to find a suitable replacement cap wise when you only get 6 mil in cap savings.

Karlsson is finally playing at the level we expected when we traded him and now people want him, haha.

Pretty sure the Burns trade was the biggest retention trade that was more then two seasons of term.

Sorry but Mike Grier isn't retaining $28,750,000 for the next 5 years. Especially not for that garbage. Picks are still 2 drafts away you grossly overrate Brannstrom and Jarventie. No way San Jose accepts that.

Yes burns was the largest ever. EK65 50% retention AGM are all fantasies
