That WSH trade is not enticing for Caps, especially with the additional picks going towards TOR. Holl is not needed, unless a long term injury occurs and Caps already have enough middle/low forwards

Except for Horvat, the new additions don't improve the Leafs compared to the players going out.
Dmen, Sandin and Holl for Fabbro and Schenn, does that really make the Leafs better this season? Jeannot and Hathaway for Kerfoot, Robertson and Engvall.
So, it's a first and second and Hiroven for Horvat.

I get what your saying, but IMO:
Jeannot > Kerfoot
Hathaway > Engvall
Schenn > Holl
Sandin is a redundancy on this team and I've always liked Fabbro's game (plus it helps the left side right side problem)
Roberston hurts to lose but thats the cost of doing business at the deadline, and Keefe doesn't seem to want to play him anyways

Nothing of interest for NSH here. Especially not for players they'd be extremely reluctant to trade.

Nashville doesnt trade one of their two nhl rhd to add a 5th nhl lhd especially when previous attempts to move ekholm or McDonagh to rhd didnt end well

Jeannot is the exact guy the leafs need in the top six and should be on the topline. Hathaway brings the physical play and is a team guy who sticks up for teammates. Engvall is useless Robertson is another small forward which the leafs have enough of. Kerfoot is used everywhere but not great anywhere.

Really? Jeannot had a good year last but last year he is his 4th liner material. Much the same Hathway. Hey I like both players for that the are, but again it's just so much hatred for Leafs players and thinking bottom enders from poorer teams are going to be difference makers. Too much criticism of bottom enders and the love of other teams bottom enders seemed to so prominent in Leaf Nation.
