We don’t want a fourth overpaid middle six contract. Not saying no one will take him, but it won’t be the Isles.

You guys realize how much of a troll you are right?! Anderson has 5 goals in 15 games, that would put him 5th on the Devils, tie him for 4th on the Isles, tie him for 2nd on the Hawks, put him 4th on the Leafs, in fact he would be top 5 in goals on just about every team in the NHL. Please find below a list of qualities and stats that prove how much of a troll you are.

Anderson has five goals in 15 games played (suspended two games), a pace for 27 goals this season. His five goals are tied for third on the team with Mike Hoffman.
He tops all Canadiens’ forwards with 31 hits. Second, on the team is Juraj Slafkovsky with 13, then Dach with 10.
He has only three giveaways all season, placing him first on the Habs amongst regulars in the line-up.
He’s eighth amongst forwards in ice time (14:17) and ninth for power play ice time (1:17).
The guy stands at 6-foot 3-inches, 218 lbs, and skates like the wind.
While he will never be nominated for the Selke Trophy, he is not a liability defensively.
He is aggressive, cuts hard to the net, wins puck battles in the corners, and generates turnovers in the offensive zone.
When he’s on the ice, opponents must be aware and keep their heads up.
He has a very good shot.
Since joining the Canadiens, he averages under 25 goals per 82 games.
He will drop the gloves if or when needed.
He has displayed excellent leadership qualities since joining the Habs.
He wants to be in Montreal!

Montreal is not trading him and every team in the NHL would want him if he was put on the block.

almost every team doesn't want him because he is a liability defensively and his contract is an albatross

I think you’re really overselling him, but even if you weren’t, you’re missing the point. The Isles aren’t going to make a move for another middle six guy like Anderson. We already have enough guys like that. What the Isles need is a 1st line winger to skate with Barzal. Even if you’re claiming Anderson can do that, I’d argue Lee would already fill that mold on our team anyways. Anderson brings nothing to this team they don’t already have.

The Isles aren’t fit. Throw all the temper tantrums you want, but the Isles specifically aren’t a fit.

I wasn't saying they were a fit,I was saying you are trolling saying he sucks and is a defensive liability. Not being a fit is a huge difference than saying a player sucks.

I don’t follow, the worst I said about him was that he’s overpaid and a middle six forward. If you want to dispute that, fine, but I never said he sucked.

To address whether or not he’s a defensive liability, from what I’ve seen of his analytics he seems… fine? Not too good or bad. I wouldn’t give up 5m in cap space for him, but I wouldn’t be scrambling to trade him away if he were already on my team either.

Sorry, I apologize. I misread your first comment. I read it to say you didn't want an overpaid 4th liner, thats why I included you on my first post, my bad.
