I think Mitts + Joki for DeMelo too much, need + from Jets.

Unlikely Winnipeg considers moving DeMelo at this time. They need to keep the roster defenseman they have and use futures to try and find a top 9 forward.

Yeah, he's nice, but the Jets can't afford to move a top 4 guy for a bottom pairing one. I just can't see them messing with their starters at this point.

It's weird, but DeMelo you guys play 17 minutes per game, Pionk and Schmidt seem to be ahead of him in the top 4.

He was normally playing on the top pair with Morrissey. As I said though, with how the Jets are playing I think it is extremely unlikely any of the normal starters are moved.

Fair enough, though I read you have a lot of young NHL-ready defensemen who want to play.

They do. I think if the Jets move anyone, it would be one of the Moose players and or picks, imo, as opposed to a player currently on the roster.

Great trade for the Jets, they should take that and run if offered!

Where are you snowed in? Tonawanda has about 4 inches.

What do you think of Krebs so far? Not too impressed. I realize he's 21, but don't see much so far. Odd man out when the next waive arrives?
