Columbus is already paying Gaudreau and Laine big money. Would be the height of stupidity to trade for and then pay another winger big money.

I like Marchenko but don’t know if Id do this. Need the primary piece to be a RD . Peeke is alright tho. Also Columbus doesn’t need any wingers anyways since they have a ton of them

Jenner is not available for blood or money. Peeke is not someone we can afford to lose. And we do not need another high-priced high-talent winger; we have plenty as is. This trade fails in every conceivable way for Columbus.

I don't see it that way. Jenner is a different type of player but pretty good, older though

Peeke is a pretty decent D-man defensively

Marchenko is still 22 and over PPG in the AHL

I wouldn't do it if I was CBJ, even if I could (cap space). Jenner is their captain too
