The Potential Kinda Firesale

Description
Selling at the deadline without completely going for bust: Which I think is more likely than most of the scenarios I've seen posted on here.

I know a lot of Caps fans will not like me trading Hathaway, but with Wilson back and the play that Milano and Protas have had so far, can't see them dropping out.

All the trade values are fair, but I don't think the teams any of them are going to make sense.

We could get a first for Jensen. We aren’t trading him if we don’t get a first

seems a bit foolish to walk away outright just because a team doesnt pay a surplus value. While I agree Jensen COULD get a first, this is what his fair value is. Caps fans were happy with getting 3rds last year. I think a 2nd and a prospect is the most middle ground return.

I love Garnet Hathaway but yes, there unfortunately isn’t a place for him as our roster sits presently.

I think the sentiment is if we don’t get a first for him, we might as well just extend him. We can definitely afford him.
